Canadian actress. The village in which she was born, Spalding in Saskatchewan, Matchett began her theater career after her move to Ontario. In the latter half of the nineties, she made her first appearance on Canadian television. Later, she moved to the United States where she starred in The Secrets of Nero Wolfe Invasion 24 Hours at Studio 60 and Ambulance Earth. In the series, she played Last Conflict. She won her the Gemini Award in 2001 for her work as an Canadian actor on The Department of Wet Cases. She also played the wife of one of the main characters for several seasons of the television series Impact. In 2010, she's played her role as Joan Campbell in the TV show Covert Operations.
