Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe is a British-Nigerian mixed race child, was born to a family in South London. She is English but her father was Nigerian. She attended The Brit School when she was 14 years old. In London she attended The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art where her acting certificate was obtained. At the academy was when she performed in various stage productions, such as King Henry V as Princess Katherine as well as Wuthering Heights as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe first began her acting career through the film Storm Damage. Over the past few years she has appeared in Teachers as well as Doctors. Madekwe's breakout came with 2007's Woody Allen movie Cassandra's Dream. It was opposite Colin Farrell (who played the part of Cassandra) and Ewan McGrath. After this success, Madekwe appeared as Elisha on her role on the BBC Three drama pilot West 10 LDN and appeared on six of the episodes Trexx as well as Flipside. She was Bambi as Bambi in the ITV2 series Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe was a part of the comedy How to Lose Friends and Alienate people (2008). Her credits in theatre include Little Sweet Thing by Roy Williams and Flight Path by David Watson.
Madekwe's US debut was in 2009 with the dramatic The Beautiful Life. The series aired only two episodes before being cancelled on The CW. Ashley Davenport, a character in ABC's Revenge drama, was chosen for her as Ashley Davenport. Madekwe's exit from the series was confirmed in May 2013. After two years as the main character she appeared as a guest in the first episode of season 3. From 2014 until the year 2016, she appeared on Salem in the role of Tituba. Madekwe and her boyfriend for many years, Iddo Goldenberg, were wed in June of 2012. They have worked together on Secret Diary of a Call Girl in the past, and Goldberg is also a part of the cast in the television series Salem.

Ashley Leggat grew up in Hamilton Ontario and was a part of a large family. Ashley Leggat joined Roy and Patty as well her older siblings: Brett, Todd and Bram and Rob. Ashley grew in arenas or baseball fields because her four athletic brothers all played baseball, hockey, as well as both during winter and summer. Ashley did not have the ability to walk. She was a dancer. So when she was 2 and a 1/2 and a half, she began to take part in Baby Ballet. This was the beginning of Ashley's love for dancing. Ashley continued to compete throughout high school with top divisions like tap, Jazz, Ballet and Pointe. She also competed in Acrobatics, Acrobatics Musical Theatre, Lyrical, Hip Hop and many more. She won the top soloist awards at all of the most prestigious dance competitions like, International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 5-6-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, and Dance, Dance, Dance among others.
